Biotech One is a clean technology startup developing innovative CO₂-based processes for biomass valorization (agro-industrial co-products, microalgae, plant by-products).

As part of our growing R&D programs and European projects, we are recruiting a Research Engineer to design, operate, optimize and document experimental processes, while coordinating with academic and industrial partners.

5. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize supercritical CO₂-based extraction, encapsulation or purification processes
• Design and implement experimental plans (DOE), model physical and chemical phenomena
• Perform laboratory and pilot-scale experiments, and characterize products (HPLC, GC, FTIR, etc.)
• Analyze and interpret results rigorously and synthesize key findings
• Contribute to R&D deliverables (reports, protocols, publications)
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and research partners
• Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Maintain detailed activity logs, contribute to R&D tax credit (CIR) reporting and documentation
• Propose innovations, improve existing processes, and contribute to technology watch
